The west central Brazil is an area that can be divided into two parts:
The Planalto, formed of savannah area, with a well defined climate in 2 periods, rain and drought, and width the "Mato-grosso-goiano", lowlands from which come the sources of the Tocantins and Araguaia rivers. The village of Pirenópolis is at the limit of these reliefs. The village lies at the foot of Pireneus, part of the division of planalto.

Habitat : Stony terrain, sloppy. Flowering : October and November Description : Grass which like stony and steep. One of its features is to issue a white milk when it is cut. It is very showy because of its color. The flowers are pink and have a yellowish center. The fruits are dry and insignificant. This flower can be considered medicinal by areas.
