Le tronc est droit, constitué d'une écorce sêche, les rameaux sont cylindriques. Les feuilles sont simples, opposées et possèdent une nervure centrale proéminente séparant le limbe en deux.
Les fleurs mesurent plus ou moins 10 mm de diamêtre, sont munies de 5 pétales, de la forme ovoïde plus large à la base, séparées et de couleur blanche.
